This last week has been OK again, I still haven’t really got into my uni work but that is for this week to come. I went into uni earlier this week which was fine although I didn’t see that many people which is the bit that I was a little worried about. So I suppose I didn’t really face this challenge, but then again maybe this is a good way of introducing me back to uni. In the next week I will start to do my PhD again and hopefully I will be able to make some progress with this. I also had my last counselling session on Friday which went well and I will miss having them but I know I can always return if I need to, this has certainly been big part of my recovery. And earlier this week I had another ‘CBT’ session but even though I was meant to have 6 sessions I ended this after 2 because it was very monotonous and boring, I didn’t feel like it was having any positive effect and was worried it may frustrate me. But the good news is that I am on the intensive CBT waiting list and I hope this will help me for any future depression episodes that I may get.
I am still feeling a lot better, although I am not sleeping all that well, but that may have something to do with my medication?? So I am really happy with my progress I just hope it continues. On a final note I am half way through the book ‘Depressive Illness: Curse of the Strong’, I am finding it a really interesting read and will do a full review once I have read it and understand it well enough to review.
